CitiFinancial Branch Network , through its 2,000 community-based lending branches in both the United States and Canada, distributes a wide variety of consumer loan products and services including real estate, personal loans and loans to finance consumer goods. CitiFinancial serves over three and one-half million customers and employs over 13,000 team members.  

CitiFinancial Corporate Offices located in Baltimore, Maryland, offers some of the best back office support around. This dedicated team strives to do what's right for our customers and our branches. Major departments include Credit Policy, Field Credit, Information Systems, Field Implementation, Human Resources, Training, Marketing, Investment Recovery, Accounting, Finance, Facilities Management, International Development, Compliance and Legal.  

CitiFinancial Retail Services helps retailers and dealers improve their bottom-line by providing private-label credit and financing options to their customers. The flexible financing programs and promotions help clients attract, convert and keep more customers. The services include expedited credit approvals, fast ACH funding and superior point-of-sale equipment. Employees assist dealers and customers through highly efficient and well-trained customer service representatives located in centers throughout Canada and the United States.  

Charlotte Regional Service Center was established in 1988 as Barclays American Financial, and was acquired by CitiFinancial in March of 1990. The Charlotte location has evolved into a Regional Service Center servicing more than 1 billion dollars in assets for the company. The primary function is collections. They collect accounts for the Branch Network, Private Label, Real Estate and Mobile Home portfolios. They process payments and provide all aspects of customer service. A predictive dialer and call optimization software is used to accurately contact each customer therefore efficiently keeping delinquency low. Staff is comprised of Collection Management, Information Technology Professionals, Clerical, Customer Support and Collection specialists.

The Consumer Investment Recovery Department is located in Owings Mills, Maryland. The primary responsibility of the unit is to collect on charged-off accounts for the CitiFinancial branch network and several other Citigroup business entities. The unit currently services 862,000 accounts for 2.2 billion dollars and collects over 100 million dollars a year.
